Whilst living at Belle Isle, St Nicholas-at-Wade, during the late sixties, as one of Sarah's (now Bronwen) friends, I was a frequent visitor to Street Acre and have many fond memories... Anneli's wonderful Easter egg hunts and delicious 'Torten', the many fascinating European visitors, the unusual artefacts around the house, the multi-lingual gate signs, the pet foxes and St Bernard dog, Tristan's coaches and carriages... Anneli always made me so welcome and I especially enjoyed sitting in her cosy kitchen, whilst she prepared meals and told stories about her life. My best wishes to you all, Anne Michelmore
